Every once in a while a simple idea comes along in a brainstorm that you can’t help but come back to.
So we ran it up the chain and they liked it. And then Budweiser liked it. And then Chloé Zhao liked it. And then Gary Clark Jr. liked it. And then we were chasing a Clydesdale down a closed ranch in Thousand Oaks with a camera attached to an all-wheel drive Porsche.
Thus the 2022 Budweiser Super Bowl Ad was born.
The 2nd most successful Super Bowl campaign in Budweiser’s history centers on the story of a majestic Clydesdale that parallels the country’s comeback post-pandemic and Bud’s comeback to the big game.
